Well done to the Calasanctius College First Year football team who overcame Holy Rosary College Mountbellew in the Connacht semi-final yesterday, Tuesday 16th April in Bekan.

The teams were very evenly matched. Calasanctius went into the break a point up,2-04 to 2-05. Both teams gave it their all in the second half and Calasanctius showed great spirit to finish stronger with a one point winning margin, on a score line of 4-05 to 3-09.

Calasanctius will now play St. Attracta's Community School from Sligo in the Connacht Final at the Connacht Centre of Excellence in two weeks time. Throw in 12.30.
