As you aware a big day looms ahead for our Senior County Ladies when they take on Mayo in the TG4 Senior Connacht Championship this coming Sunday 12th May at 2pm in Kiltoom, Co. Roscommon.
We hope you will all come out and support our Ladies in their Connacht Final this Sunday. We all witnessed great support for our male counterparts last Sunday in Pearse Stadium so it is very important that we all get behind our ladies this Sunday. Please avoid scheduling any events that might interfere with people attending the game on Sunday.
As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the foundation of LGFA, the inaugural Galway ladies football team from 1975 will be introduced to the spectators on the day.
The Senior Final at 2pm between Galway and Mayo will be followed by the intermediate final at 4pm between Roscommon and Leitrim
You will also notice that no club games were scheduled for Sunday 12th to allow you to attend the Connacht Final, no clubs should be arranging games for this day.
